Role Responsibilities:
Leading, Mentoring & Coaching:
• Conduct observations of classrooms.
• Provide lesson planning training/support.
• Ensure Documents of learning and photos are displayed appropriately within the classroom.
• Train all new hires on curriculum implementation and SNT.
• Review Coradvantage and assess opportunities.
• Provide Family/Parent Conference support.
• Ensure portfolios are current.
• Be a resource for a variety of needs.
• Have open lines of communication.
• Encourage positivity and excellence.
• Inspire an atmosphere of teamwork and center pride.
• Identify strengths and areas for growth.
• Mentor teachers providing opportunities, materials, and resources for continued learning
experiences, professional growth, and self-improvement.
• Ensure center has necessary supplies (water play, appropriate FF&E, etc)
Center Safety Evaluation (Compliance):
• Always ensure the safety of all children and staff in the center.
• Implement all State regulations and Company Children's Safe N Secure procedures for a safe and secure center environment.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to manage transition schedules and paperwork (meet twice per month to stay on track with movement of students and changes in tuition)
• Assist in entering child Accident/Incident reports in CORE and child files.
Facility and Classroom Maintenance:
• Maintain the facility to "Tour Ready" standards.
• Classrooms are set up and maintained correctly.
• Keep all curriculum/enrichment postings in lobby, hallways & classrooms up to date.
Qualifications:
  • Years of Experience: 3+ years
  • Must have professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children.
  • Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field highly preferred.
  • Early Childhood Certificate, CDA or Associates Degree in related field is required.
  • Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
  • CPR and First Aide Certification highly preferred.
  • Must meet state specific guidelines
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Act in a nondiscriminatory manner
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with children, parents, staff, vendors, and upper management.
  • Be of sufficient physical, mental, and emotional health to perform his or her job duties
    satisfactorily.
  • Possess skills, attributes, and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with children,
    parents, coworkers, clients, and management.

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
