Job Title: Customer Service/Inside Sales

FSLA: Non-Exempt

Job Overview:


In this role you will work directly with manufacturers, customers and outside sales associates through inbound phone calls and emails, to provide pricing, specifications, availability of products, and to process customers’ orders. No Cold Calling involved.

Responsibilities:


Respond to new and existing customer requests via inbound calls and emails.

Review all orders for pricing, terms, ship date, etc., and confirm with customer prior to entering.

Help with customer issues and find the best possible solutions.

Monitor backorders and communicate status to customers.

Provide support to outside sales personnel as requested.

Educate and provide recommendations on other products in the line.

Follow up on job quotes and communicate to outside sales when a large job is quoted.

Update and maintain current pricing and records.

Responsible for assigned manufacturers’ products within a Team.

Communicate all pricing changes to Team members and Sales personnel.Seek and attend necessary training to support assigned product lines.

 

Skills/ Qualifications:


Excellent interpersonal communications skills, both verbal and written

Must be a team player

Ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency using computers while actively listening, both for data entry, as well as for complex computer navigation

Attention to detail

A flexible/positive “can-do” attitude

Willing to learn

Stable job history

Minimum 2 years of customer service experience over the phone

HVAC, plumbing or construction customer service a plus

Compensation based on experience.
