Job Title: SAS Social Strategist Location-Type: Remote (20-25 hours/week; EST hours) Start Date Is: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Contract Compensation Range: $45-49/hr on W2 Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship .

Job Summary:

We're looking for a highly culturally curious, social-first strategist to help shape social and creative strategy for a major retail brand. This is a hands-on role for someone who can turn emerging conversations, communities, and trends into meaningful brand opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay deeply immersed in social media and internet culture, particularly TikTok, and identify relevant trends, communities, conversations, and consumer behaviors.
  • Translate social and cultural insights into strategic opportunities, creative ideas, briefs, and recommendations.
  • Support holiday, seasonal, always-on, and culture-led social campaigns in partnership with social, creative, creator, and cross-functional teams.
  • Build compelling Google Slides and PowerPoint decks, turning insights into clear, visually engaging narratives.
  • Participate in ideation, contribute to social and creative strategy, and help identify innovative ways for the brand to engage with culture.
  • Be highly hands-on and collaborative comfortable researching, writing, developing strategy, building presentations, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3–7 years of experience as a Social Strategist, Cultural Strategist, Creative Strategist, or Social Insights Strategist.
  • Creative-led social/culture agency experience strongly preferred; Community Management experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of social, creators, earned media, digital culture, and internet communities.
  • Excellent writer and storyteller who can connect insight opportunity idea recommendation.
  • Strong deck-building skills with the ability to create visual narratives, not just bullet-point presentations.
  • Genuinely "very online and culturally curious fluent in TikTok, trends, memes, entertainment, and pop culture.
  • Strong communicator, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-paced, meeting-heavy environment.
  • EST availability required.
