Job Summary

Hourly supervisor needed for part-time seasonal role to support overseeing our Sport Catering and Concession Kitchen. This position is event based with hours ranging between 10-40 during baseball homestand weeks and 0-20 hours per week during off weeks depending on special and dark day events, if any.  This position is a seasonal, event based role, with a primary duration from April-September. 


Summary:   Supervises hourly associates to ensure their practices comply with company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
    Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items.
  • Assists in ordering and keeping inventory of products. 
  • Maintains product cost and labor cost according to budget.
  • Supervises and trains hourly staff to ensure policy and procedures are implemented.
  • Extensive understanding of menu and recipes/
  • Maintains consistent, efficient service during peak hours.
  • Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:
    The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
    The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
    The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate would have 1-3 years of experience supervising the productions of food from scratch, be punctual, organized, hard-working, and passionate about food. This person should be proficient with their knife skills and put importance on food quality and kitchen safety. 
  • Bi-lingual candidate preferred- English and Spanish. 
  • SevSafe preferred, current food handlers required.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
