Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical assessments and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions, utilizing imaging studies and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative support, managing operating room preparation, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and skillfully passing surgical instruments throughout procedures
• Deliver exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Required Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical care

Required Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
