Job description

We are looking for a hard-working, energetic, and reliable individual to join our team as a Pet Care Technician. The ideal candidate enjoys working with animals, has a pleasant and courteous personality, and can remain positive and upbeat even during times of stress. Experience is not required but is a plus.

Pay rate is $15.50 - $17.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Supervises outside playtime for dog groups of all sizes
  • Feeds guests at scheduled feeding times
  • Ensures guests have clean water at all times
  • Thoroughly cleans all indoor and outdoor areas of our facility to ensure the health of our guests
  • Interacts directly with clients at check-in and check-out
  • Performs other duties as assigned
     

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
  • Able to work weekends and holidays
  • Must be a team player and able to communicate effectively with co-workers
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Confidence interacting with dogs of all breeds and sizes
