Job description

A leading healthcare system is hiring a Telecommunications Analyst (VoIP/CUCM) to support Cisco voice and VoIP technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in VoIP, Cisco telephony, or Unified Communications who is looking to expand their skills, work alongside a close-knit team, and build a long-term career within a large health system


Position: Telecommunications Analyst (VoIP/CUCM) (Mid-associate level)

Location: East Stroudsburg, PA 18301

Job Summary:

The Telecommunications Analyst - VoIP/CUCM is responsible for supporting and maintaining telecommunications systems across the enterprise healthcare infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of communication services, including VoIP, PBX, and Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting telecom-related issues, supporting phone and voicemail systems, assisting with upgrades and implementations, and partnering with internal IT teams, vendors, and end users to resolve service concerns.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting enterprise telecommunications systems, strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Skills:

  • Support and maintain enterprise telecommunications systems, including VoIP, PBX, and Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
  • Monitor and perform routine maintenance of telecom infrastructure to ensure system reliability and uptime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve telecom-related issues, escalating complex problems as appropriate.
  • Configure and support phones, voicemail systems, call routing, and related telecom services.
  • Assist with telecom upgrades, implementations, and small-to-medium-sized projects.
  • Partner with IT teams, vendors, and end users to diagnose and resolve service issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of telecom systems, configurations, processes, and support activities.
  • Manage telecom equipment inventory and coordinate hardware deployment and replacement efforts.
  • Provide timely, professional customer support to end users across multiple locations
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds - Frequent sitting, standing, and computer/keyboard use.
  • Occasional travel between healthcare facilities within the service region.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting telecommunications systems in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience with VoIP technologies and telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Exposure to or experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
  • Experience with Cisco telephony and collaboration technologies.
  • Familiarity with telecom project coordination or implementation activities.
  • Understanding of network fundamentals and their relationship to voice services.
