Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth!  Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a CTE Associate at The Cypress Creek Juvenile  Correction Center in Lecanto, FL

Cypress Creek is a max security residential program for at-risk male youth. Through our trained programming for staff, we promote a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. We welcome ALL who are passionate about making a difference! SHIFTS: Mon thru Friday 8am to 430pm or as needed for facility needs

Pay: $20.00  per hour

What you will do: The CTE Associate (Career and Technical Education) will be responsible to assist the CTE Coordinator in providing career counseling that will assist the youth with beginning,changing, or advancing their careers by providing counseling, consultation, advice and/or guidance which is specifically focused on a youth’s career preferences and options, and assist treatment teams with feedback on students progress in the program.

To be considered you should: An associate degree in a related field and one year of experience working with youth in an organized activity setting -or- a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience working with youth in a residential setting. ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License
