Second Chance Marriage and Family, Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. As a Social Worker within our organization, you will have the unique opportunity to work remotely, liaising with clients primarily through teletherapy platforms. This arrangement allows for a work-life balance while facilitating effective communication and therapy delivery. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Utilizing your advanced clinical skills to conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on client-specific needs.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy, to address various mental health challenges effectively.
• Regularly monitoring client progress through ongoing assessment and adjustment of treatment strategies, whether in-person or via telehealth sessions.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote integrated health solutions, enhancing overall client outcomes.
• Administering and monitoring psychotropic medications in collaboration with medical providers, focusing on adherence and evaluation of treatment effectiveness.

Your work will primarily focus on school-aged clients, addressing a range of mental health issues from anxiety and depression to behavioral challenges. You'll engage with students and their families to provide support, guidance, and skills training to foster resilience and coping strategies. This role is vital in guiding young individuals toward improved mental health and academic performance, significantly impacting their overall quality of life.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A current and valid LCSW license to practice independently within the state of Illinois.
• At least one year of experience working as an independently licensed therapist, with a focus on working with children and families preferred.

While the minimum qualifications are essential, candidates with additional experience in school-based mental health or community mental health settings are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and strong skills in client engagement are particularly valuable.
