Summary of Job Duties:
Manage daily operations of the office and provide accurate and timely troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical lock hardware and systems. Perform installations of mechanical and electronic control systems, which may include door access control, mechanical locks, keypads, electronic locks, Wi-Fi locks, and associated hardware. Responds to situations where lock hardware or systems have failed and action must be taken to isolate or repair problem equipment, or software, or make configuration changes to return locking systems to full functionality. Process key requests and issue keys and ensure that the Simple K key management software is kept up to date. Planning, designing, and implementing new key and locking systems for remodeled or new construction projects. Assigns work to other locksmiths to ensure that tasks are completed promptly.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study plus 3 years locksmith experience -OR- High School Diploma/GED, plus 5 years locksmith experience
  • Must of a valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to participate in a group 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, on-call rotation where each member of the group takes call for 1 week at a time
  • Workload pressure will regularly subject incumbent to moderate to high job-related stress
  • Drive company vehicles to locations off-site and around the state to support repair initiatives. All incumbents must have a valid driver's license and have a clean driving history.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Customer Service experience
  • Locksmith certification
