Regional / Semi-Local Truck Driver Onsite | Des Moines | Ottumwa | Omaha | EdgertonHireNow Staffing is actively recruiting multiple seasoned, highly skilled Regional / Semi-Local Truck Drivers to join one of our valued client partners. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this CDL driving role.We are targeting drivers who operate with discipline, understand intermodal freight movement, and can consistently manage regional routes while maintaining safety, compliance, and delivery timelines.HireNow Disqualifier: Candidates with jumpy or inconsistent work history will not be accepted or interviewed.Key Responsibilities
  • Operate regional routes within a 300-mile radius of Kansas City / Edgerton hubs
  • Pick up and deliver intermodal containers between rail yards and customer locations
  • Work with major rail hubs including BNSF, NS, CSX, and CPKC
  • Manage both drop & hook and live load/unload freight (majority no-touch)
  • Execute deliveries across multiple states including KS, MO, NE, IA, IL, OK, and AR
  • Maintain accurate logs and compliance with DOT and HOS regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and rail yard personnel
  • Ensure safe handling of equipment and freight at all times
Required Qualifications (Highly Important)
  • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
  • Proven experience in regional or intermodal trucking
  • Ability to operate within multi-state routes and rail yard environments
  • Willingness to work Tuesday–Saturday schedule (5 days on / 2 days off)
  • Ability to manage hours of service independently across assigned shifts
  • Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and load handling
  • Consistent and stable work history in driving roles
  • Authorized to work in the United States

  • Intermodal container experience (rail yard operations)
  • Experience with drop & hook freight operations
  • Familiarity with Midwest regional routes
