Job description

CSP Tech I: High School diploma or equivalent; ability to work independently & in a team; be attentive to detail & maintain a positive attitude; ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously & prioritize a work schedule; ability to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner; ability to understand surgical/ medical terminology.

CSP Tech II: At least 1-year experience required or have completed surgical technology or central sterile processing program with applicable certification. Deliver one in-service or participate on one special project per year under the manager/director's guidance. Serves as a positive role model for students and other team members. Ability to troubleshoot routine problems with CSP equipment.

CSP Tech III: Must be a graduate of a program for Surgical Technicians and hold Certification administered by the NBSTSA or complete appropriate military training program for surgical technology or provide evidence of employment to practice surgical technology in a health care facility in SC prior to 1/1/2008 or is in the service of the federal government, to the extent the person is performing duties related to that service.
