What You'll Do

As an Automotive Sales Manager, you'll lead daily showroom operations, coach sales professionals, desk deals, and help drive profitability while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Sales Leadership & Team Development

  • Coach, mentor, and motivate sales consultants to achieve and exceed performance goals

  • Train sales staff on closing techniques, customer experience, and best sales practices through active leadership and mentorship

  • Conduct daily sales meetings and ongoing coaching sessions

  • Mentor new and experienced sales professionals to improve productivity and results

  • Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance sales culture

Customer Experience & Sales Operations

  • Lead showroom activities and ensure a high level of product knowledge throughout the team

  • Maintain strong Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

  • Ensure proper follow-up procedures are executed through effective CRM processes and accountability

  • Establish and monitor vehicle delivery procedures to create exceptional customer experiences

  • Guarantee each delivery includes a proper introduction to the service department and scheduling of the first service appointment

Performance & Profitability

  • Desk deals and assist in structuring transactions to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction

  • Partner with dealership leadership to drive showroom traffic, internet lead conversion, and overall sales growth

  • Monitor and improve sales processes, lead management, and department performance metrics

  • Assist with inventory merchandising and sales strategy

  • Collaborate with the F&I department to ensure a seamless purchase experience

What You Bring

  • Previous automotive Sales Manager experience preferred

  • Proven track record of developing and leading successful sales teams

  • Strong history of achieving CSI scores, gross profit objectives, and dealership performance goals
