Title: Teacher Aide, Part-Time, Elementary Cafeteria
Qualifications:
  1. Effective communication and problem solving skills.
  2. Ability to problem solve
  3. Ability to work collaboratively with staff in an educational setting.
  4. Regular and predictable attendance
  5. Qualified to be employed as a teacher aide per Civil Service and NYS Education Department guidelines.

Responsibilities shall include but are not limited to the following:
  1. Attend meetings as needed
  2. Execute directions provided
  3. General Teacher Aide assignments
  4. Support Students with Special Education services.
  5. 1:1 Student Support
  6. Assistive Technology
  7. Attendance
  8. Data Collection
  9. Feeding or assistance feeding
  10. General Clerical Assignments
  11. General Education classroom aide support
  12. General Supervision - Arrival, Dismissal, Playground, Cafeteria, Transition Times
  13. General Student Assistance

  15. Lifting - Unassisted and assisted for school aged children with little ability to manipulate themselves.
