Job description

This position is for a Cyber Security Engineering (CSE) Cryptographic (Crypto) / Communication Security (COMSEC) Team Member.
As an individual contributor, applying United States and F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Customer Nations practices and policies, the selected candidate would ensure that the F-35 JSF Crypto and COMSEC Systems are designed and implemented to be effective, efficient, and intuitive.
Responsibilities include ensuring that cyber security national Crypto requirements are properly defined, decomposed, and allocated and that the solution will satisfy applicable Government regulations. This includes conducting working groups, design reviews, and formal artifact reviews.
The candidate is a Subject Matter Expert in systems engineering with a focus on High Assurance Device certification, key management planning, and cryptographic designs for incorporation into the JSF environment. Detailed knowledge in cryptographic techniques including use of the US Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and crypto key generation and distribution, and development of key management documentation Cryptographic Support Planning and implementation.
This position interfaces with Air Vehicle and Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) product teams, National Security Agency, Crypto Suppliers, various JSF MoDs, and the JSF Program Office.
Knowledge may be from professional experience and/or educational/technical training in the field of cryptography. Knowledge in systems engineering is required.
Previous Generation 5 experience with integrated End Cryptographic Units (ECUs) on airborne and ground systems is required. Previous experience integrating crypto and key management architectures for Foreign Military Sales is also desired.
A combination of education and experience may be considered equivalent to the degree requirement.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a US Citizen. This position requires special access and a Secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years to be considered.
