Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Crystal Psychotherapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment plans addressing their specific needs.
  • Providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions to patients within the Detox Center.
  • Focusing on issues such as substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and the impact of these challenges on family dynamics.

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and addiction specialists, to ensure holistic patient care.

  • Documenting all patient interactions and maintaining up-to-date progress notes to comply with regulatory standards.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in social work and addiction treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with substance use disorders and their associated mental health challenges. You will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults and adolescents, addressing unique issues such as: alcohol and drug dependence, trauma history, grief and loss, family conflicts, and behavioral issues related to addiction. By addressing these challenges, you will significantly contribute to their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Social Work (BSW), with a preferred Masterโ€™s Degree (MSW) in Social Work.
  • An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Texas.
  • At least two years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in substance abuse and mental health settings.
  • Strong understanding of addiction treatment methodologies and therapeutic interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and families.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
