Position Overview

Crystal Psychotherapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our clinical team as a full-time employee. This remote position allows you to provide essential social work services within a Hospice Center setting. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients’ emotional, psychological, and social needs.
  • Developing personalized treatment plans in conjunction with patients and their families, focusing on holistic care.
  • Providing individual and family therapy sessions, both virtually and in-person as needed.
  • Facilitating support groups for patients and family members dealing with grief, loss, and adjustment to serious illnesses.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Documenting patient interactions and care progress in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Offering crisis intervention and support to patients and families in distress.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily engage with adults and adolescents facing serious health challenges and their families. Your expertise will be essential for addressing issues such as grief and loss, adjustment disorders, caregiver stress, and family dynamics affected by illness. You will work closely with diverse populations, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment that recognizes and respects individual differences.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A current and active license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a relevant field, with a preference for advanced degrees.
  • Proven experience in a clinical setting, with a minimum of two years of direct patient care.
  • Expertise in therapeutic modalities and intervention strategies relevant to hospice or palliative care.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be highly regarded:

  • Experience working in hospice, palliative care, or medical social work settings.
  • Knowledge of end-of-life issues and bereavement counseling.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote healthcare practices.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a generous salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
