The ideal candidate will combine deep domain expertise in fintech, payments, and crypto with proven enterprise sales leadership, a track record of closing complex deals, and the ability to navigate a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. This is a builder / operator role that requires hand on work designing and implementing systems and processes as well as closing deals.

  • Build and lead a world class, high-performing sales organization across the Trade and Payments verticals, ensuring alignment with company goals and ambitious growth targets.
  • Manage a global sales organization and develop and execute a uniformed and integrated sales strategy for acquiring and retaining large-scale enterprise clients across financial institutions, brokerages, fintech platforms, and payment processors
  • Work with RevOps to refine systems and processes to drive efficiency and productivity and generate data driven, actionable insights to drive the business forward
  • Identify new business opportunities and target C-suite executives and key decision-makers at enterprise prospects. Drive complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from lead generation through contract closure, with particular focus on building long-term strategic relationships.
  • Position the company as a thought leader in the digital asset and fintech space. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, emerging technologies, and competitive positioning. Represent zerohash at industry conferences, forums, and key events to build visibility and credibility in all markets.
  • Work closely with the Solution Engineers, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure client needs are met, product capabilities align with market demand, and complex deal structures are executed seamlessly. Provide valuable client and market feedback to inform product development and go-to-market strategy.
  • Lead negotiations for enterprise-level contracts covering both trading and payment infrastructure use cases. Successfully close large and complex deals while ensuring alignment with company profitability standards and long-term client success.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with key industry players, including traditional financial institutions, blockchain platforms, exchanges, payment networks, and other relevant stakeholders to expand market reach and distribution channels.
  • Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track sales team performance, pipeline health, and progress toward annual targets. Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on achievements, market opportunities, and challenges.
  • Mentor and develop the sales team, providing ongoing coaching, training and support to drive individual and team success. Foster a collaborative, results-driven, high performance and customer-centric sales culture.
Required Experience
  • Successful and proven track record in the fintech, payments, or digital asset sector
  • Minimum 15+ years in an executive leadership or VP-level sales role with demonstrated success building and managing high-performing global enterprise sales teams that have achieved significant revenue growth and exceeded targets.
  • Proven track record of closing large, complex enterprise deals, with multi-year contract values and managing relationships with C-suite executives and institutional clients.
  • Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, and digital asset/cryptocurrency space
  • Strong network of institutional and enterprise contacts in financial services, fintech, and/or digital assets, with demonstrated ability to develop new business from existing relationships and prospecting.
  • Experience navigating complex regulatory environments and a demonstrated commitment to upholding the highest ethical and compliance standards.
  • Experience working in a global sales / revenue organization
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to executive-level clients, investors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with ability to manage multi-stakeholder, complex deal structures in a high-pressure environment.
  • Data-driven approach to sales management, with ability to use analytics, CRM systems, AI tools and insights to optimize sales processes, forecast accuracy, decision-making and productivity.
Preferred Qualifications
