Job description

Why Choose Us
At rebel Financial, we're not just another advisory firm - we're a movement to rebuild finance from the inside out.
We believe that capitalism and conscience can coexist. As a Certified B Corporation®, we're proving that you can grow a thriving, profitable business while improving lives, empowering communities, and sharing success with the people who help build it.
We're also on the cutting edge of technology: early adopters of AI, pioneers in delivering crypto investment advice, multi-custodian management, and developers of our own fintech solutions. Our team experiments with tools like VR/AR, automation, and data analytics to deliver an experience that's as modern as it is personal.
We're also educators and advocates. From Freemium, our free service model for underserved communities, to our ESG, Halal, and impact portfolios, to Gold rebel, our comprehensive Financial Planning + Wealth Management service offering, we bring purpose to every portfolio and accessibility to every client relationship.
Most importantly, we're building a company with a true path to ownership - one-third partner-owned, one-third employee-owned, and one-third cooperative in spirit. That means your contribution can translate into long-term equity, profit sharing, and leadership opportunities.
If you're an experienced advisor who wants to do meaningful work, leverage cutting-edge technology, and grow with a firm that's redefining wealth management - this is your next chapter.
Position Overview
The Lead Financial Advisor is a senior, client-facing role for an experienced CFP® professional with 10+ years in financial planning and relationship management.
You'll help drive our advisory growth strategy - serving as both a trusted advisor to clients and a mentor to junior advisors and financial coaches. You'll also contribute to business development, operational improvement, and firm leadership initiatives.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, service, and sales - who loves helping people, improving processes, and building something lasting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a book of high-net-worth and mass-affluent client relationships, delivering comprehensive, fiduciary financial advice.
  • Oversee and mentor junior advisors, support advisors, and financial coaches.
  • Partner with the investment management team on asset allocation, rebalancing, and portfolio strategy.
  • Collaborate with operations to enhance workflows and improve the client experience.
  • Lead or participate in business development initiatives, including networking, client acquisition, and referral cultivation.
  • Contribute to firmwide process improvement, innovation, and technology adoption.
  • Model leadership in client service, compliance, and company culture.
  • Support and occasionally present at educational events, webinars, or client workshops.

What We're Looking For
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Business, or related field preferred).
  • Certification: CFP® designation required.
  • Experience: 10+ years of comprehensive financial planning and client-relationship experience.
  • Skills:
    • Proven success in sales, networking, and business development.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Collaborative leadership style with mentoring experience.
    • Comfort using modern financial technology and CRM platforms (Advyzon, eMoney, HubSpot, etc.).
    • Commitment to fiduciary principles and client-first values.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $85,000 - $150,000, depending on experience, client base, and leadership capacity.
  • Advisors on the higher end of the range typically bring strong business-development experience, an existing client base, and/or proven leadership results.

Additional Compensation:
  • Performance Compensation: $10,000 - $60,000+, tied to individual production, client growth, and firm contribution.
  • Company Bonus: $5,000 - $25,000+, based on firm performance and profitability.
  • Enhanced Compensation: Advisors bringing an existing book of clients are eligible for additional transition bonuses and phantom-stock participation, leading to future equity opportunities.

Benefits Include:
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Student loan repayment matching (up to $200/month)
  • 529 savings matching (up to $200/month)
  • Paid time off and sick leave
  • Professional development reimbursement for continuing education and credentials
  • Paid attendance at industry conferences and seminars
  • Company-provided NAPFA membership for advisors
  • Complimentary financial, estate, and tax-planning services
  • Apparel and lifestyle program with premium company-branded attire
  • Access to company Teslas for tenured employees (first-come, merit-based)
  • Profit sharing and long-term equity potential
