General Tech (Cruise) $2,600+ for 10 Day Cruise
Join a unique 10-day international cruise ship refurbishment project departing from Fort Lauderdale, FL. We're seeking an experienced General Technician with a background in interior fit-out, maintenance, or commercial refurbishment projects to support a variety of onboard renovation tasks while traveling to destinations including Nassau and Cozumel. Responsibilities include installing and repairing doors, hardware, glass walls, LED strips, and other interior components, as well as assisting with general maintenance and refurbishment work throughout the vessel. This is a great opportunity to get paid while traveling, with onboard accommodations and meals fully provided. Ideal candidates will have experience safely using hand and power tools, working efficiently under tight project timelines, and maintaining high-quality workmanship in fast-paced renovation environments. Strong attention to detail and a valid passport are required.
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in interior fit-out, or commercial refurbishment projects
  • Experience with door installation and repairs
  • Experience installing hardware and fixtures
  • Experience removing and installing glass walls
  • Experience installing LED strips and interior components
  • Ability to perform general maintenance and refurbishment tasks
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools
  • Ability to work efficiently within tight project deadlines
  • Experience working in active or occupied renovation environments is an asset
