Reporting operationally to the FIFA Stadium Safety & Security Senior Manager, the Stadium Security Crowd Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing the Private Security resources deployed across public spectator areas during Match Day stadium operations.ย 

The role ensures that Private Security personnel assigned to concourses, vomitories, seating bowl access points such as Turnstiles and Pedestrian Screening Areas, circulation routes, and spectator-controlled zones operate in accordance with approved FIFA policies and procedures, the Venue Safety & Security Plan (VSSP), Dot Maps, and Match Day directives.ย 

The EVS Crowd Management Specialist supports the safe and orderly movement of spectators and ensures zoning integrity throughout the stadium footprint.ย 

Key Responsibilities and Oversightย 

Operational Delivery - Spectator Areasย 
  • Oversee Private Security personnel deployed across:ย 
  • Public concoursesย 
  • Vomitories and seating bowl access pointsย 
  • Circulation corridorsย 
  • Stairwells and vertical movement pointsย 
  • Designated spectator holding or contingency areasย 
  • Ensure deployment aligns with approved Dot Planning and VSSP zoning.ย 
  • Maintain operational integrity of access control between public and restricted areas.ย 

Crowd Flow & Zoning Integrityย 
  • Monitor spectator density and movement patterns.ย 
  • Support mitigation of congestion, bottlenecks, and late-arrival surges.ย 
  • Ensure spectators remain within ticketed zones.ย 
  • Identify and escalate emerging crowd risks or unsafe behavior.ย 
  • Coordinate with Private Security Supervisors to adjust deployment as required.ย 

Compliance & Standardsย 
  • Monitor adherence to FIFA operational directives relating to crowd management and zoning.ย 
  • Ensure Private Security personnel enforce access control in accordance with approved post orders.ย 
  • Identify and escalate deviations from approved operational planning.ย 

Incident Management & SOC Coordinationย 
  • Monitor, document, and report crowd-related incidents within spectator areas.ย 
  • Immediately escalate significant crowd incidents to the FIFA Safety and Security Senior Manager and Stadium Operations Center (SOC).ย 
  • Support coordinated response in alignment with FIFA Security directives.ย 
  • Provide timely situational updates through established reporting channels.ย 
  • Participate in post-incident reviews where applicable.ย

  • Maintain accurate operational records relating to crowd deployment and incidents.ย 
  • Submit Match Day updates and post-match summaries as required.ย 
  • Support compliance verification and operational validation processes.ย

Education & Qualifications
  • Relevant professional certifications in event operations or safety management are an advantageย 
Work Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in security operations, preferably in major events, hospitality, logistics, or VIP environmentsย 
  • Experience supervising or coordinating private security servicesย 
  • Experience in Crowd Management on large scale eventsย 
  • Strong understanding of access control, incident response, and operational security principlesย 
  • Major event or international tournament experience is an advantage ย 
Languages
  • Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plusย 
Technology
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration toolsย
