Job description

JOB TITLE: Gameday Experience Assistant

DEPARTMENT:  HHP

REPORTS TO:  Associate Athletic Director of Facilities & Operations

Position: 
Join the Dordt University Gameday Experience team and help create an electric, welcoming, and unforgettable environment for fans, families, and student-athletes! The Gameday Experience Assistant will play a key role in the planning and execution of in-game promotions, crowd engagement, theme nights, and overall fan experience on game days.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with set-up and tear-down of game day promotional elements (banners, signage, giveaways, etc.)
  • Run in-game promotions and contests
  • Coordinate with PA announcer, mascot, music/DJ, and concession staff
  • Welcome and engage with fans before and during events
  • Support theme night execution (e.g. Youth Night, Senior Night, etc.)
  • Provide feedback after events to help improve the fan experience
  • Assist with creating social media content before and during games
