Job description

About the Team

Launched in 2021, Fanatics Betting and Gaming is the online and retail sports betting subsidiary of Fanatics, a global digital sports platform. The Fanatics Sportsbook is available to 95% of the addressable online sports bettor market in the U.S. Fanatics Casino is currently available online in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Fanatics Betting and Gaming operates twenty-two retail sports betting locations, including the only sportsbook inside an NFL stadium at Northwest Stadium. Fanatics Betting and Gaming is headquartered in New York with offices in Denver, Leeds and Dublin.

Fanatics Betting & Gaming is looking for a CRM Associate to power the day-to-day execution engine behind our Commercial CRM program. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial CRM, you will be the operational backbone of the team, owning campaign builds, creative workflow, and issue resolution so that every communication reaches customers accurately, on time, and fully approved.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that sits at the center of CRM, Promo Ops, Creative, Legal, and Customer Service. It is ideal for someone who is detail-obsessed, process-driven, and energized by keeping a high-volume campaign operation running smoothly in a live sports environment.

Responsibilities

Campaign Build & Execution

  • Support the Commercial CRM team with all campaign builds across XtremePush and Movable Ink, including email, push, and in-app messaging.
  • Own campaign setup end to end: audience selection (with opportunities to work directly in SQL over time), asset approval, dynamic content and personalization configuration, scheduling, and deployment.
  • QA every campaign prior to launch, ensuring links, offers, segmentation, and personalization render and function as expected across devices.
  • Monitor live sends and escalate or resolve deployment issues in real time.

Creative Workflow Management

  • Run point on all creative requests for the Commercial CRM team, managing intake, briefs, timelines, and delivery with the Creative team, with support from the Commercial CRM team.
  • Track creative status across campaigns, flag risks to deadlines early, and keep stakeholders aligned on priorities.
  • Provide feedback and secure approvals on assets to ensure they meet channel specs and campaign requirements.

Compliance & Legal Approvals

  • Ensure all customer communications receive required legal and compliance approval prior to deployment.
  • Maintain documentation of approvals and manage the review workflow so campaigns are never delayed or sent without sign-off.

Customer Support & Issue Resolution

  • Partner with Promo Ops to manage and troubleshoot CS contacts related to CRM campaigns and promotions.
  • Investigate customer-reported issues (missing offers, broken links, eligibility questions), identify root causes, and drive resolution with the appropriate teams.
  • Feed recurring issues back into process improvements that reduce contact rates and improve the customer experience.

Process & Operational Excellence

  • Maintain campaign calendars, trackers, and operational documentation to keep the team organized and audit-ready.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline build workflows, templatize recurring campaigns, and improve speed to market.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation where possible to improve efficiency across builds, QA, and reporting.
Work Pattern
  • Monday through Friday, with some after-hours and weekend work expected given the live sports calendar and key promotional moments.
Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in CRM, marketing operations, or campaign execution across email, push, and/or in-app channels.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as XtremePush or Braze and personalization tools such as Movable Ink is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong QA mindset; you catch the broken link before the customer does.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns, creative requests, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Clear communicator who can coordinate across Creative, Legal, Promo Ops, and Customer Service teams and keep everyone aligned.
  • Calm, solutions-oriented approach to troubleshooting issues in a fast-paced, live environment.
  • A passion for sports, betting, and gaming products is strongly preferred.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI tools - you've experimented with LLMs or automation to speed up drafting, QA, reporting, or repetitive work, and you get excited about finding the next use case. We don't expect expertise; we care about the instinct to reach for these tools.
  • Interest in or exposure to SQL - the ability (or the appetite to learn) to pull and validate your own audiences, sanity-check segmentation, and self-serve simple data questions rather than waiting on Analytics.

Depending on the role, your interview and onboarding experience may include in-person components, such as onsite interviews or Launching into Better: LIVE-a multi-day cultural immersion in New York City for full-time, non-seasonal hires. These sessions are designed to build connection and bring our culture to life, though specific travel and participation requirements will be confirmed based on your role and location. Your recruiter will provide clear guidance at each stage of the process.
