NOTICE OF VACANCY

ASSISTANT SWIMMING AND DIVING COACH


School Features:

• Approximately 1850 students in grades 9-12

• School currently has a B rating from Indiana Department of Education

• School is located in southwest Marion County


Program Features:

• Member of Mid-State Conference with Bloomington North, Franklin, Martinsville, Mooresville, Plainfield, and Whiteland

• Member of Sectional 13-Ben Davis, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, Brownsburg, Covenant Christian (Indpls.), Decatur Central, Herron, Indianapolis Arsenal Technical, Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter, Indianapolis Crispus Attucks, Indianapolis George Washington, Indianapolis Shortridge, Park Tudor, Pike, Speedway,

Tri-West Hendricks.

• Two certified athletic trainers on staff

• Great facilities; including state of the art weight room, Natatorium, Armstrong (Indoor) Pavilion, athletic annex building, main competition gym, auxiliary gym, locker rooms, team meeting room/classroom/offices, and a Field-Turf multi-purpose field.


Qualifications:

• Previous playing and/or coaching experience preferred

• Currently possess or has ability to obtain IHSAA coaching certification

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Knowledge of fundamental swimming skills

• Ability to form positive relationships with student-athletes, school staff, and community members

• Ability to organize, supervise, and administer all phases of an education-based swimming program
