• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ presenting issues and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate referrals for further behavioral health interventions when psychological disorders necessitate additional support or psychiatric care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using our EMR system, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, contributing to case discussions and treatment evaluations.
• Stay updated on the latest best practices and ethical guidelines in the counseling field to provide the highest level of care.
• Provide social work services, including assistance and counseling for clients’ families, fostering a supportive environment.
• Document client interactions thoroughly and maintain detailed records to track progress and outcomes.

You will be working with a diverse client population, including individuals managing chronic health conditions, anxiety, depression, and various other mental health issues. Your ability to connect with clients from varied backgrounds and with different needs will be essential in creating effective therapeutic relationships and achieving desirable outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• Must hold a current and active LPCC license in the state of California.
• A minimum of three years of experience providing counseling services is essential, demonstrating a history of working with diverse clientele.
• Diverse knowledge of crisis management strategies and the ability to implement these in emergency situations.
• An aptitude for leveraging technology to enhance counseling practices and client engagement.
• Exceptional conflict resolution skills, ensuring a harmonious and collaborative atmosphere within the team.

While not required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in telehealth settings or those who have worked with populations suffering from chronic health issues, as this aligns closely with our client focus and therapeutic approach.
