Overview

The Associate Director, Creator Activation is a centralized role tasked with driving Influencer activation within OM's dedicated managed service product, Creo. The core responsibility of the role is leading activation of client/agency influencer campaigns, including creator-direct management, negotiation, and execution of social content in response to a client brief and Creo team proposed plans. The role will serve OM agencies across the organization, working in symphony with client paid social teams to execute paid amplification of Creator campaigns.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (Marketing/Advertising/Communications preferred)

5-6 years of experience within Influencer and media environments

Hands on experience managing Creators within Influencer campaigns and client management with blue-chip companies

Experience working on client business in a variety of industries

Experience managing at least 2 direct reports

Responsibilities

Influencer Activation:

Lead influencer activation for Creo clients, including creator agreements, platform management and activation process and procedures from campaign kickoff to completion

Accountable for the strategic alignment and vetting of Influencers for client campaigns

Execute partnerships with influencers from post contract through to campaign completion

Ensure metrics are collected and recaps are developed post-mortem

Guide in planning the logistics (travel, product shipping, etc.) to Talent/influencers for campaigns

Accountable for executional excellence across all Creo activations, limited but not limited to creator onboarding, content ideation and delivery, reporting and live client escalation

Curation, outreach, compensation negotiation, and management of content development/feedback and deployment

Leverage OM Influencer tech platform for influencer discovery, talent vetting, client content review and ongoing performance benchmarks

Provide input to help guide the OM Influencer platform roadmap based on client and OM needs

Participate in and lead weekly team meetings

Practice Excellence:

Maintain a constant pulse on the influencer landscape education via thought leadership communication, staying atop of shifts in the industry and emerging trends and be able to communicate the impact to client business

Develop thought leadership pieces & case studies to increase adoption and authority of Creo within the OM ecosystem

Work in partnership with OM COE platform teams and channel stakeholders to implement best practices across functions including but not limited to asset development, commerce, and measurement

Build and maintain relationships with creators and platform partners to identify opportunities for activating

Team Management:

Manage a team of at least 1-2 Supervisors, Sr. Specialists, and Specialists, and ensuring their professional growth within Creo

Help shape Creator Activation operations, providing tactical resources for team development

Required Skills:

In-depth understanding and mastery of Influencer operations, Creator compensation, ability to ensure activation excellence and scalable best practices

Strong relationships with Influencer community space, including Creators and talent managers

Thorough understanding of the Influencer ad and organic roles & responsibilities across platforms including but not limited to creative development, talent perspectives, best practices, and measurement

Excellent relationship building with internal and external stakeholders

Strong communicator and presenter, able to present and articulate persuasive and cohesive presentations and points-of-view

Highly analytical and creative mind in strong communication skills

High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation

Strong business acumen and the ability to make highly impactful decisions in a timely manner
