Position Purpose

The President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational management of Police Credit Union of Connecticut (Credit Union). Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CEO ensures the Credit Union’s financial strength, regulatory compliance, member satisfaction, and organizational culture remain aligned with the traditions of the law enforcement community it serves.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in a credit union or community financial institution.

  • Deep understanding of NCUA regulations, regulatory examination process, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience as a CEO, COO, or senior executive within a credit union or community bank.
  • Active NMLS license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a small‑organization environment requiring adaptability and hands‑on management.

Compensation & Benefits
