This role oversees all aspects of credit reporting, including communication with members, the credit bureaus and internal departments. Duties include handling members disputes, monitoring internal reports to ensure reporting accuracy, and serving as the main point of contact for all credit bureaurelated matters. Additionally, this role provides backup support for incoming department phone calls to ensure coverage during lunch hours and employee absences (e.g., vacations). Qualifications: Required: Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. At least one (1) year previous customer service experience, either in accounts payable, sales or lending. Reliable transportation to and from work Essential Elements of the Job: Dispute Resolution & Member Communication Respond to member disputes through E-Oscar, mail, and email per credit bureau notification requirementsCoordinate responses to Consumer Credit Repair Services acting on behalf of membersCommunicate with members, credit bureaus, and internal departments throughout the investigation process Credit Reporting Accuracy & Investigation Investigate and audit accounts to ensure accurate credit reportingReview and work internal reports to validate the accuracy of tradeline data submitted to credit bureausRespond to and process credit bureau notifications received through E-Oscar and mail Compliance & Regulatory Oversight Partner with Internal Audit to ensure compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)Address and resolve member complaints submitted through agencies such as the BBB and NCUAMaintain adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards related to credit reporting practices Professional Presence Maintain a positive and professional image, consistently embodying the Credit Unions mission, vision, and values. Additional Job Requirements: Actively participate in seminars/training and workshops as required. Other administrative duties as assigned.
