About This Role

The Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Chroma Early Learning Academy, ensuring the delivery of exceptional early childhood education, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Director will work closely with the leadership team to implement Chroma ELA's vision, mission, and strategic goals.


What You'll Do
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the center, including staff supervision, curriculum development, and operations.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained in line with state licensing regulations and accreditation requirements.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and operational costs while working to achieve financial sustainability.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that support Chroma ELA's goals and regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a positive work culture and promoting professional development.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents, staff, and the broader community.
  • Oversee recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff members.
  • Implement and assess educational programs, ensuring they meet the developmental needs of the children.
  • Coordinate and manage communication between all stakeholders, including parents, staff, and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to identify and pursue new opportunities for growth and development.

Requirements
  • An ECE related credential such as TCC, Paraprofessional, CDA, Associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree or Masters Degree related to Education.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role in early childhood education.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education practices, child development, and state licensing regulations.
  • Experience in managing budgets, financial planning, and operational tasks.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of educators and support staff.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and the community.
  • Be able to pass a national criminal background check
  • A valid Drivers License
