Job Description

3 Months Contract to Hire

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for processing all Human Resources transactions and be resourceful in assisting the strategic development and planning processes.
  • Work with the HR Manager to initiate the development, implementation of policies and procedures as needed.
  • Responsible for all Employee on-boarding, personnel files, recruitment, hiring and orientation of new employees in the Philadelphia location.
  • Prepare personnel files for delivery to payroll and internal HR department for New Hire processing
  • Lead monthly New Hire orientation sessions
  • Coordinate with external sources to schedule and attend career fairs and to hire and initiate internship programs as needed
  • Analyze talent development program needs and lead the administration of each training batch.
  • Manage employee relations 
  • Rollout and drive corporate programs like team building activities, Employee recognition programs, Roadshows etc.
  • Maintain and follow up to date CA state employment laws and federal employment laws applicable to CCS.

Required experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources Management.
  • Any HR Certification is good to have, not a must have.
  • 0-2 years' experience in Human Resources experience working in the state of CA is preferred, in a Staffing or Consulting environment preferred.
  • Experience with handling personnel files and onboarding activities
  • Ability to perform independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive work experience in MS Office suite
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
