The Impact you will have in this role:

DTCC is seeking a Creative Copywriter/Creative Strategist to shape the next evolution of creative for DTCC. We're looking for a candidate with strong conceptual thinking to help build the foundation for and execute on creative work across our marketing channels. From full 360 campaigns to channel and performance marketing - we need someone who sees creative opportunity in everything and can articulate that through strong conceptual framing and creative writing. 

In this role, you'll help shape how DTCC shows up across channels, building a strong foundation for creative concepts through briefs and benchmarking as well as creating messaging and copy that elevates both the brand and our solutions. You'll think strategically about how ideas live and evolve across social, email, web, internal channels and beyond. 

This is a hands-on role that blends strategic thinking with practical execution - you'll not only build briefs and craft messaging but also ensure they're embedded into campaigns, creative, and go-to-market activities across the organization.
In this role, you'll report directly to the Head of Brand and partner with the designers in our In-House agency to develop and deliver well-crafted creative.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the marketing teams to build the brief and communicate our offerings through creative concepts
  • Shepherd creative from brief to concept through to production working with marketing managers and project managers to deliver the final product
  • Create frameworks, rituals, and operating models that help the team move faster and produce creative that has measurable impact.
  • Translate strategic concepts into copy and messaging used across campaigns, sales, and marketing materials.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment of brand voice and story across all touchpoints.
  • Write persuasive, creative copy from the smallest CTA to the most inspiring headline
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business marketing, external and internal communications, to bring creative concepts to life. 
  • Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

  • Strategic thinker and confident communicator who can distill complex ideas into clear, compelling briefs, arguments, decks and concepts that move people to action.
  • Have 3-5 years of experience as an agency strategist or brand/client-side strategist or writer.
  • Have proven examples of effective campaign work that show off the ability to build a strong brief and develop a concept - let's see something AI couldn't write.
  • Strong cross-functional operator who builds trust with stakeholders across marketing and creative teams.
  • Excellent research, storytelling, and communication skills, with a knack for simplifying complex ideas and being mindful of compliance. 
  • Data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. 
  • Experience with financial services or other B2B regulated industries where personal finance, investing, or a similarly complex category where audience trust and content credibility are hard-won.
  • Strong program and stakeholder management capabilities, including building initiatives from scratch in a matrixed organization.
  • Digital first, and use a data-informed approach to storytelling, with the ability to make market infrastructure feel relevant, interesting, and human.
