Job description

Are you a creative storyteller who thrives at the intersection of design, strategy, and community impact?
If so, you could be a match for our Creative Manager role! In this position, you’ll bring our brand to life across digital, print, social media, and in-store environments, including store signage and visual elements displayed throughout our retail locations.
This is a dynamic, hands-on, primarily in-person role that combines mission integration, concept development, project management and significant hands-on graphic design execution to ensure consistent, compelling brand experiences that support organizational goals and strengthen community connections.
Strong graphic design skills are essential, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and experience working in Canva, the ability to conceptualize and produce high-quality print and digital materials. Candidates must present a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in layout, typography, and brand application.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves collaboration, thrives in an in-person environment, and wants to make a meaningful difference through creative work. Occasional ad-hoc work from home flexibility may be available based on business needs.

Who We Are
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, working for the greater good is at the core of what we do at Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County. Our mission — to improve the quality of life for people with barriers to self-sufficiency through the Power of Work — guides everything we do. While our work focuses on supporting individuals, our broader vision reflects the lasting community impact that happens when people receive a hand up.
By providing job training, social services, and employment support, we empower people to build meaningful careers, strengthen their families, and contribute to thriving communities.

What You Will Do
Creative & Brand Development
  • Lead the concept, design, and production of high-quality visual assets across digital, print, and multimedia campaigns, with hands-on execution in graphic design as a primary responsibility
  • Create and maintain brand standards, templates, and visual systems, ensuring consistent, high-quality design across all platforms and touchpoints
  • Design and produce polished, publication-ready materials including newsletters, annual reports, brochures, presentations, and executive communications, with strong attention to layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
  • Translate complex data and narratives into clear, compelling visual designs including infographics, dashboards, and presentation materials that enhance understanding and engagement
Social Media & Digital Marketing
  • Oversee all social media platforms and content strategy
  • Create engaging content including graphics, GIFs, and videos to enhance engagement
  • Manage website updates, landing pages, and digital content
  • Collaborate with the PR team on press release distribution
Email Marketing & Communications
  • Develop copy and design for email blasts and promotional communications
Events & Campaigns
  • Manage concept and graphic design for fundraising and special events
  • Provide event support and serve as in-house event photographer
  • Develop and execute designs and campaigns for seasonal promotions
Vendor Management
  • Serve as primary contact for radio advertising campaigns
  • Oversee materials produced by marketing partners and vendors to ensure brand consistency
In-Store Engagement & Interior Design
  • Manage and curate in-store radio programming and commercials
  • Spearhead in-store graphics and create mockups for store renovations and signage
Strategy & Operations
  • Manage marketing budget and financial resource allocation for social media promotions
  • Develop, design and update the corporate dashboard for the President/CEO
  • Support weather-related and adverse impact communications
  • Maintain organizational chart and provide technical design support to internal customers

What We are Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field, and at least four years of relevant experience in graphic design, digital communication, social media and print production
  • Demonstrated proficiency in social media platforms, digital marketing tools, email marketing software (such as Constant Contact), Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience using AI tools to support creative development, content creation, design ideation, image generation, copy refinement, and workflow efficiency, with sound judgment and a strong commitment to brand standards
  • Excellent visual and written communication skills, including editing skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to promote a positive brand image and build relationships with a diverse constituent population of internal business partners and vendors
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Graphic design samples demonstrating expertise in layout, typography, and brand application are required as part of the recruitment process

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
