The Department of Humanities at the University of Alaska Southeast, School of Arts & Sciences, is seeking passionate adjunct faculty to join our English Program in Juneau on a temporary basis. We are dedicated to fostering intellectual curiosity, cultural awareness, and academic excellence across diverse disciplines, and we are seeking faculty to teach in our composition (WRTG) sequence. Courses may include those at the 0-, 100-, or 200-level. Join our committed team and make a lasting impact within a vibrant academic community! Adjunct positions are filled on a temporary basis. Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in English, Literature, Composition and Rhetoric, or Creative Writing from an accredited institution of higher education.
2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a college or university setting, with graduate-level coursework in teaching of writing is preferred.
Position Details:
This is a temporary faculty position. Salary is based on the number of previous semesters teaching experience within the University of Alaska.
