Job Title: Certified Special Education Teacher
Reports To: Coordinator/Case Manager, Instructional Coach โ€“ Special Education, or Director of Special Education


About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction and support for students with disabilities. Youโ€™ll manage IEPs, track student progress, and collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.


What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Deliver instruction tailored to individual and small-group needs, aligned with general education curriculum

  • Manage and update IEPs in collaboration with families and IEP teams

  • Use technology and creative teaching strategies to engage students

  • Apply classroom modifications and behavior interventions when needed

  • Participate in meetings, assessments, and interdisciplinary planning

  • Maintain accurate student records and monitor progress


What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Education and a current Special Education teaching certificate

  • Knowledge of K-12 special education requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
