We are seeking a Marketing Manager, Brand & Creative to join the Brand & Creative Team. As a member of the team, you will help drive the development of brand advertising creative through the management of various creative partners. You will evaluate and shape the creative and play an important role in the strategic development and execution of integrated marketing initiatives in collaboration with key internal stakeholders and external partners. The work you do will reinforce and improve on GEICO's position as one of America's most beloved brands.

You will manage the day-to-day agency relationships to ensure they are delivering against GEICO's strategic business objectives & budgets. You will partner with cross-functional counterparts to ensure shared strategic direction and brand cohesion across marketing initiatives. You have a passion for creative and a love for creating content that has an impact on culture.

This role reports to the Marketing Senior Director, Brand and Creative.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure the operational and executional excellence of all creative endeavors.

Serve as main point of contact for creative agency of record; manage day-to-day relationship.

Lead the organization of Brand & Creative projects.

Evaluate and contribute to business and creative brief development; Author intake briefs and creative addendums for Agency Partners.

Provide creative input and recommendations during development process; Capture and communicate consolidated feedback to agencies.

Review marketing and non-marketing materials to ensure all creative content adheres to the GEICO brand voice and GEICO brand visual identity.

Drive cross-functional collaboration internally and externally.

Partner with Media to develop omni-channel and partner-driven campaigns.

Partner with Product to ensure business & strategic alignment of all campaign materials.

Partner with Social to ensure shared strategic direction and brand cohesion across social initiatives.

Partner with Sports & Entertainment to identify distinct and authentic opportunities for the GEICO brand to permeate culture.

Partner with internal Creative Studio to facilitate campaign extensions across the customer journey.

Partner with Internal and External Communications to amplify awareness of campaigns as they go to market.

Oversee the creative development of brand integrations through network and media partnerships.

Optimize creative performance across the funnel.

Synthesize & circulate creative performance metrics from Analytics.

Partner with Analytics to interpret creative performance and incorporate findings into current and future work.

Manage the efficient operation of the Brand & Creative function.

Track and report on creative agency of record fee against scope of work, (analyzing impacts of changes in projects/processes and recommending adjustments to leadership as needed).

Manage talent / usage rights / ad expirations for commercials and external assets.

Manage budget tracking and invoicing.

Motivate, manage & mentor creative professionals.

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years brand management experience or comparable Creative Agency experience

Prior experience managing external agencies including Creative Agencies and Media Partners

Experience managing creative professionals, including direct report(s)

A strong understanding of how to evaluate creative - especially against strategy, contribute to its development, and deliver clear, actionable, and inspiring feedback that elevates the work

Exceptional organizational skills to balance managing multiple projects

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Unique blend of creative and analytical skills

Strong experience developing full-funnel marketing campaigns

Familiarity with Creative and Production processes

Familiarity with omnichannel marketing and go-to-market planning, preferably in IAT (Inter-Agency Team) model

Strong understanding of Paid, Owned and Earned ecosystem

Experience managing variable budgets

Relationship-building skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

Is flexible and adaptable to a changing business environment

Experience in a B2C company

LOCATION:

This position is hybrid, with an expectation of three days per week inoffice. Preferred locations are commutable toNew York City(Manhattan Office)or Washington D.C. (Corporate HQ). Up to 25% travel.

Annual Salary

$109,675.00 - $172,200.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
