About the Role:
Kidcreate Studio is looking for a passionate and energetic After School Enrichment Program Instructor to bring creativity and fun to kids in the Fairfax, VA area! This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds through hands-on, engaging activities in a supportive and vibrant environment. If you love working with children and have a knack for making learning exciting, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging after school enrichment lessons and activities for children
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
  • Guide students through age-appropriate creative and educational projects
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive group dynamic
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and program coordinators
  • Set up and clean up materials and supplies before and after each session
  • Adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and age groups

Requirements:
  • Experience working with children in an educational, childcare, or enrichment setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a passion for youth development
  • Ability to work part-time afternoon hours, Monday through Friday
  • Reliable transportation to program site(s) in Fairfax, Annandale, Falls Church, Springfield, Vienna, Oakton, Tyson, Arlington
  • Background check required
  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
  • Weekend availability is a plus

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Specializing in children's art classes, camps, and art-themed birthday parties, Kidcreate Studio is an art studio just for kids. At Kidcreate Studio, children will create fridge-worthy masterpieces, learn art concepts, and experiment with many different art materials.
Weekly classes, camps, workshops and homeschool classes are age-specific and are tailored to provide each student with the curriculum that suits them best.
