Job description

The Job

Meds.com is a rapidly growing consumer technology firm operating a suite of healthcare businesses, including our flagship brand BlueChew. Our mission is to better patients' lives through innovative healthcare solutions. With a team of 350 professionals across various specialties, we've built scalable pharmacy, telemedicine, and e-commerce platforms using cutting-edge technology. As we continue our accelerated growth trajectory, we're launching new products to expand our patient base and accelerate growth. Join us in tackling exciting challenges at the intersection of healthcare and technology.

BlueChewmakes chewable tablets that help men perform in bed. We say that partout loud, on national television, in the middle of the game. Most healthcare brands whisper. We bought airtime. That nerve made us one of the most recognized names in D2C telehealth.

Nowwe'rebuilding more brands, and fast. New categories, new audiences, new problemsnobody has written the playbook for. This role exists because of that speed.

The national TV spots, the big campaigns, the UGC insights, the stuff that made us famous: that engine is built and running loudly. But alongside is a different kind of challenge: a portfolio ofnew brandsbuilt from the ground up, each with real potential and whose entire job is making them great. That'sthe gap.That'syou. Our most recent addition is MOD.com but expect plenty more in the pipeline.

Some weeks thatmeansnaming something thatdoesn'texist yet. Some weeks it meanslaunchchaos. Every week it means keeping live brands fed, consistent, and current, and re-sorting your plan at 4pm because the business learned something at 3pm. The one constant is motion.

One thing we believe: building only counts if it lasts. This role owns each brand from the first naming deck to month-eleven upkeep, with the same care at both ends. We'renot hiring a reinvention. We'rehiring a builder who finishes. These brands are young. Grow them, and the job grows with you.

You

You're that rare breed: a creative who actually likes to manage. You want to makegreat workand build a smart business in the same motion, andyou'venever understood why those are supposed to be different jobs. Your LinkedIn might say Senior Creative, Associate Creative Director, or Creative Director at a place that talks more than it makes. You like owning outcomes, not just outputs. You'resuspiciously organized for a creative. You can hold five projects, three deadlines, and one small fire in your head without dropping any of them.

Priorities change here in realtime, becausethe business reads its numbers in real time. Thatdoesn'trattle you. You can love an idea on Tuesday and shelve it on Thursday because the data said so, without needing a week to grieve. And when a problem shows up with no name, no owner, and no playbook, you do what you always do: you throw an idea at it.

WhatYouโ€™llDo

Build them from the ground up:When a new brand enters the portfolio, you bring it to life alongside our partners. Naming, voice, identity, packaging, launch. Then it joins yourrosterand you keep it excellent.

Keep them alive:Brandsaren'tfinished at launch. Run the day-to-day: social, retention creative, site updates, seasonal pushes, the steady drumbeat that keeps a brand feeling current instead of abandoned.

Evolve them:Listen to what the market and the numbers say, then act. Sharpen positioning, refreshwhat'sgone stale, and make the case when something bigger needs to change. Around here, maintenance is an active verb.

Write the rulebooks:Build the guidelines, systems, and templates that let a small team produce a lot without a brand drifting. Consistency by design, not by policing.

Run the machine:Own timelines, budgets, and priorities across your brands. When the business re-sorts the deck at 3pm,you'vere-planned by 4, and the team stays steady while the ground shifts.

Solve the unlabeled problems:The ones that belong to no department anddidn'texist last week. Approach every one of them like a creative: idea first, process right behind it.

Keep your hands dirty:Youdidn'tget promoted out of the making, and this rolewon'teither. You'llwrite names, headlines, and brand voices yourself, week in and week out, right alongside the work you direct. Makingisn'ta rescue mission here. It'sthe expectation.

Marshal the talent:Direct the writers, designers, editors, and producers working on your brands, and manage the agencies and freelancers around them. Get everyone's best work pointed at the right problem.

WhoYouAre

The resume:8+ years in creative, agencyor brand side.Maybe you'rea Senior ready to lead, an ACD ready for a bigger sandbox, or a CD who misses making things.

The founder gene:You'vebuilt something of your own. A brand, a business, a studio, a side project that got out of hand. Oryou'verun every projectyou'veever touched like you owned it.

The lifecycle:You'vebirthed brands andyou'vebabysat them. You know launch-week adrenaline and month-eleven maintenance, and you respect both.

The operator:You'reorganized in a way creativesaren'tsupposed to be. Deadlines, budgets, and dependencies live comfortably in your head right next to the big idea.

The flexibility:Shifting priorities read to you as information, not chaos. You re-planfastand youdon'thold grudges against the calendar.

The craft:An excellent writer or an exceptional art director, with strong opinions about the other half.

The clarity:You make complicated things sound simple and simple things sound irresistible.

The curiosity:You know what people are laughing at this week, not last quarter. Andyou'repaying attention to AI like your job depends on it, because parts of it will.

The Details

Salary:Very competitive, plus comprehensive healthcare and retirement plans.

Location:Austin, TX. Fully onsite ata great locationonSouth Congress. The work is better whenwe'reall in the room, and lunch is free.

The office:pluscoworkers who will humble you at all three.

One more thing:Somewhere in yournotesapp is a brandyou'vebeen building in secret. Bring it.
