Summary:
Creates innovative concepts and design strategies; develops computer generated artwork and layouts; and produces creative original designs for all communication mediums and channels.


Responsibilities:
1. Creates innovative concepts and design strategies; develops computer generated artwork and layouts; and produces creative original designs for all communication mediums and channels.
2. Collaborates with cross functional teams and clients to analyze needs, provide expert technical guidance, plan creative production strategies and provide high quality, cost effective solutions for design and completion of individual projects and cross-platform campaigns.
3. Provides direction and creativity to vendor agencies in determining appropriate strategies, distribution channels and communication vehicles to reach the identified target markets.
4. Analyzes, plans and coordinates production and finishing processes; inspects proofs for accuracy; and adheres to appropriate corporate and production standards.
5. Coordinates branding strategies for communication materials in compliance with corporate logo and standards and develops logo artwork for corporate entities.
6. Designs, produces and delivers web pages for internal websites. Coordinates and maintains day-to-day updates with content owners for internal websites.
7. Serves as liaison for information services, to troubleshoot problems, identify solutions and assist in maintaining intranet website server-side functions.
8. Independently manages digital message system functions including vendor relations, programming structure, scheduling, and creating custom messages. Provides system training and technical support for users.
9. Seeks out and makes recommendations for new software, tools, trends and techniques to help keep the organization's print and digital initiatives current and innovative.

Professional Experience Requirements:
In lieu of degree, five+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced knowledge of and aptitude for various technical and creative software applications, tools and equipment. Must have knowledge of Internet/Intranet, WWW, HTML, CSS, JAVA Script, FTP, web-based programming languages, tools and technologies. Advanced Adobe Creative Suite CS4 or later versions, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) required.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY Job requires creativity and innovative thinking to develop new ideas for answers to work-related projects as well as the ability to analyze information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems. Job requires the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
