Job description

Salary Range: $158,690.00 - $245,969.00
Position Summary:
We are building a unified Growth & Experience organization across a portfolio of five direct-to-consumer brands, Albany Park, Edloe Finch, X-Chair, Mavix, and Timbuk2 alongside Sitonit Seating, our flagship B2B brand. Creative is central to how we show up across this portfolio, and we are looking for a Director of Creative to lead and evolve that work.
In this role, you will lead a lean, AI-enabled in-house team and drive creative across both DTC and B2B channels in close partnership with the CGXO and cross-functional leaders. You will balance creative strategy with hands-on execution, ensuring high-quality output at the speed required for modern marketing.
This is an opportunity for a strong creative leader who enjoys improving systems, developing talent, and shaping impactful work, with the potential to grow into broader leadership as the organization scales.
This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Creative strategy & brand stewardship
  • Lead and evolve creative direction across DTC brands and the B2B channel, ensuring distinct brand voices and consistent standards
  • Maintain and apply brand guidelines across the portfolio, ensuring alignment across paid, organic, owned, and retail channels
  • Partner with the CGXO, eCommerce, and Growth leaders to align creative with commercial priorities
  • Contribute to campaign concepts, seasonal creative, and always-on performance assets
  • Bring a strong creative perspective to cross-functional planning, balancing strategy and execution

High-velocity, AI-enabled production
  • Support and evolve an AI-enabled production model using current and emerging tools
  • Drive consistent, high-quality creative output at the pace required for modern DTC marketing
  • Establish and refine creative processes, briefs, and asset production workflows
  • Partner with Growth Marketing and eCommerce to incorporate performance insights into creative output
  • Stay current on emerging creative tools and foster a culture of learning within the team

Studio & location production
  • Direct studio and location shoots across brands, from concept through delivery
  • Support planning, logistics, and execution of photo and video production
  • Partner with freelance talent and external partners as needed
  • Ensure creative assets meet quality standards across both DTC and B2B channels

B2B creative leadership
  • Support creative strategy and execution for Sitonit Seating's B2B channel
  • Adapt creative approaches to meet both performance-driven DTC needs and B2B brand-building efforts
  • Contribute to development of sales materials, campaigns, and event assets

Team leadership & org design
  • Lead and develop a lean in-house creative team, including designers and AI creative resources
  • Provide clear direction, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality output and team growth
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen team capabilities and workflows over time
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and craft-focused team culture

Qualifications, Skills and Education:
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in creative roles, including leadership responsibility
  • Experience leading multi-brand creative across both performance and brand contexts
  • Strong portfolio across campaign, digital, brand, email, and social creative
  • Experience managing small, high-performing teams
  • Hands-on experience directing studio and location shoots from concept through delivery
  • Demonstrated fluency with AI tools and creative workflows
  • Experience developing and maintaining brand guidelines across multiple brands
  • Ability to collaborate and influence across eCommerce, Growth, and Brand teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working across multiple brands
  • Exposure to B2B creative environments
  • Familiarity with AI tools or interest in learning AI-enabled creative workflows
  • Experience in home furnishings, lifestyle, or related categories
  • Background in UX or web design
