Project Manager Creative Arts

Family Church Network

Position Overview: Under general supervision, this position reports to the Pastor of Creative Ministries and is responsible for managing projects for the Creative Arts department of the Family Church Network.

Direct Leader: Manager of Creative Arts

Prerequisites

  • Ability to meet all minimum eligibility requirements to be a member of Family Church.
  • Affirm the Family Church Network statements of belief and practices as codified in our organizational bylaws and detailed in the Baptist Faith and Message confessional statement of 2000.
  • Three to five years’ experience in project management.
  • Experience using workflow management software such as Asana, Trello, Zapier, etc.
  • Maintaining a close and healthy walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Maintaining a high standard of excellence and moral character.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow.
  • Professional and positive demeanor.
  • Record of consistent, high-level performance.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

General Responsibilities

Advance the culture of Family Church by supporting our Leadership Principles, First Team Concept and fostering a climate of inclusivity and mutual respect

  • Advance the mission and vision by supporting all decisions regarding strategic direction, programming changes, church-wide gatherings, and budgetary decisions
  • Prepare for and attend all required/necessary meetings and retreats, including weekly Staff Chapel and Content Production Team meetings, Summer Camps, Vision and Strategy meetings, special called meetings for special events, and various staff retreats as requested.
  • Maintain detailed documentation including best practices in your ministry area.
  • Manage personal and team workflow, including documenting assigned duties and tasks.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a stressful work environment.
  • Maintain cooperative spirit assisting others when needed or requested.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership, peers, members, volunteers, and prospects.
  • Work a flexible schedule, which can include after hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrate stewardship of church resources including supplies, equipment, intellectual property, etc.
  • Understand, adhere to and support all procedural guidelines and church policies.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned projects from beginning through completion, in partnership with the receiving department or campus.
  • Ensure assigned department work orders are addressed in a timely manner, including providing requesters with appropriate ticket status.
  • Coordinate with music ministry and creative ministry team members to ensure all communications materials and graphics are ready for services and special events.
    • Oversee the strategy and implementation for external communications.
    • Assist in the execution of internal communications strategy.
  • Maintain and enforce the Identity Policy and Procedures (branding guidelines).
  • Assist with our digital presence (web / social media) and print media.
  • Oversee the creation, design, layout, and proofing of printed materials.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
