The opportunity
The Senior Manager, Creative Services will report to the Vice President Marketing, Retail Brands and will be required to work in our headquarters in Winston-Salem, NC. This position will be responsible for managing the development of brand differentiated creative across ecommerce site creative, consumer-centric packaging, digital assets, in-store efforts, photography etc. for all U.S. based Gildan Retail brands in all channels.
The role
Job Responsibilities
  • Lead team of creative services managers responsibility for intaking, project management, & final creative execution of all marketing services (e-commerce site creative, packaging, digital assets, PDP imagery, photography etc.)
  • Manage through the team, development of all creative initiatives for the ecommerce sites, email campaigns, and social content/video production
  • Direct leadership of internal graphics design team (packaging, digital, site & e-mail.) Selects agencies for creative projects, which requires understanding of structure, functions and pricing of agencies.
  • Responsible for operating rhythm that prioritizes execution of quality work, consultative approach to project intake, & efficient work capacity throughput. Constantly working to identify opportunities to optimize creative/marketing project workflow and capacity. Champion use of workflow tool once identified.
  • Work collaboratively with brand management to ensure creative consistently follows all guidelines/brand books. Active participant in Hanes Masterbrand team & other marketing planning processes across all brands.
  • Drives the creative brief process with Brand Teams as well as other internal customers to develop and evaluate creative and brief objectives to drive business goals. Collaborate with Digital Merchandising & In House Photography team on managing & executing PDP workflow.
  • Selects agencies for creative projects, which requires understanding of structure, functions and pricing of agencies. Oversees communication to outside agencies and/or internal creative teams, as appropriate. This responsibility also includes organizing, analyzing, identifying scope of project, obtaining estimates, post production (digital asset management system), ensuring brand consistency across the multiple consumer/trade touchpoints and routing creative for appropriate Product, Brand and Legal approval.
  • Work directly with vendors/Packaging Engineering to organize, spec, approve and insure the production of high quality, cost efficient printed materials.

  • University Degree

Experience Required
  • At least 7 years of experience

Problem Solving & Complexity
  • Prioritization of requests & resulting workflow is a constant challenge. With multiple growth teams, e-commerce teams, & sales teams requesting work. This role will need to develop an updated way of receiving, triaging, & scheduling the workflow to ensure prioritization alignment to the business.
  • Scope creep on requested projects is another challenge. This often happens in the review stages of the assignment. This role will need to update the briefing process for work to ensure complete, thorough requests are coming in with enough information defined to help prevent project scope creep.
