What You Will Do:

As a Proposal Material Program Manager (MPM) you're accountable for the Supply Chain proposal efforts for the Air and Space Defense Systems portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to shape and execute a new combined bid and procurement strategy for the customer.
As a successful MPM, you're a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and can drive change through creative problem solving.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting program proposal kickoffs and strategy development, balancing strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs.
  • Generating and/or collecting necessary documentation for successful proposals, including sole source justifications, DD254 facilitation, EX/IM planning and gathering entrance criteria needed to kick off the requests for proposals (RFPs) to the procurement teams, pricing approvals and much more.
  • Developing and executing to supply chain proposal strategy in support of all program gate review and risk and opportunity management reviews.
  • Working closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations to create a common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Ensuring proposal compliance to DFAR/FAR and TINA compliance.
  • Domestic and/or International travel (expected to be <25%).

This job is posted as ONSITE, and is based at Raytheon's Tucson, AZ facility.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
  • Experience working on proposals
  • Ability to work on programs requiring special program access

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Experience managing large databases
  • Experience managing proposal activities
  • Experience managing, and/or working with supplier
  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
