Job description

Live operations is built into the foundation before a game ever launches.  As Senior Live Producer, you're the operational backbone of our upcoming live game, shaping the processes, pipelines, and cross-functional partnerships that will carry it from online tests through launch and beyond. You're not only the day-to-day planner, prioritizer, and advocate for a cross-functional live team spanning QA, release engineering, and production leadership, you're also the person leadership turns to for a clear read on test health, incident status, and what's coming next.

Responsibilities
  • Champion high-level live initiatives and coordinate across departments to hit delivery goals
  • Maintain live team roadmap; triage, prioritize, and delegate tasks across the live team to keep operations running smoothly 
  • Partner with QA, Production Leadership, and Release Engineering to ensure successful first party submissions and proper issue tracking
  • Communicate the health and status of online services regularly to leadership
  • Coordinate incident reporting for online tests and live game; re-examine processes to future proof against similar issues
  • Work with live team and partners to ensure new content and events are delivered to the community smoothly and on time
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with internal departments and external groups
  • Identify operational and technical risks early and own mitigation strategies
  • Play the game
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in the games industry, with meaningful time spent in live operations
  • Good sense of perspective - able to switch between "details" and "big picture" as needed
  • Experience managing rapid-release content schedules and live operations on online multiplayer titles for Console and PC platforms
  • Experience shipping console game titles including dealing with first party certification processes
  • Experience with scheduling tools and managing a project budget
  • Experience in risk analysis and mitigation, as well as incident report tracking and analysis
  • Capable of multitasking and managing several important items at once, without allowing anything to be lost in the process
  • Excellent communicator at all levels - team members, leads, and senior leadership - stays composed and focused under pressure
