Job description

We’re seeking a skilled Apparel Graphic Design & Marketing Specialist to support our marketing initiatives through creative and visually compelling design. This position plays a key role in shaping our sales and marketing strategies, developing brand identity and engaging content across digital and print channels. The ideal candidate is a skilled artist with a passion for clothing and the businesses and tourism destinations we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and produce marketing materials, including digital and print catalogs, email campaigns, brochures, social media graphics, flyers, and presentations
  • Collaborate with the T.R. McTaggart sales, service, design and operations team to create content aligned with sales and marketing goals and brand standards 
  • Support preparation of production artwork by the art and design team
  • Develop original and innovative graphics for apparel products
  • Ensure designs look good on various apparel types and sizes, preparing them for production 
  • Stay updated on current trends in apparel graphics, color palettes and decoration techniques 
  • Contribute creative ideas during team brainstorming sessions and marketing strategy discussions. Align on existing brand strategy and build upon that foundation
  • Ensure timely delivery of creative projects while managing multiple priorities
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a graphic design or marketing role
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Corel experience a plus; Canva or Figma a plus
  • Ability to create visually appealing and cohesive designs
  •  Strong understanding of visual storytelling, branding, and layout design
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills 
  • Experience with video editing and basic animation
  • Knowledge of screen-printing, embroidery and other apparel decoration methods
  • Familiarity with content management systems, email management systems, and social media platforms
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
