Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our Airborne Battle Management Operating Unit within the AMC Business Unit as a Production Operations Manager 3 located in Baltimore, MD. What You'll Get to Do: Acts as the primary manufacturing liaison to program management for development and execution of the manufacturing strategy Acts as primary product development, manufacturing, and test contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with internal and external customer to discuss operational aspects of technical, cost, and schedule performance Oversee and manage product development, manufacturing, and test, global supply chain, and mission assurance activities and serve as primary liaison to program management Assesses project and technical issues and develops and drives action plans and resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction goals and objectives Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program managers, engineering, suppliers, line/cell managers, and customers Manages the operations CAM portion of program costs using EVMS methodology, inclusive of baselines, Comprehensive Estimates at Complete, monthly Business Management cycle requirements, and weekly/monthly cost reporting. Coordinates and leads the preparation of proposals; prepares and reviews all manufacturing Basis of Estimate justifications, creates master production schedules, and coordinates material planning and production scheduling to include all aspects of producing product through delivery Drives continuous improvement through mitigating risks and realizing opportunities Will be a functional manager to a team of 5-10 Operations Program Managers Basic Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Project/Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related discipline; Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years of work experience in Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related discipline; 12 years of experience in Project/Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related discipline may be considered in lieu of degree requirement Experience leading people across large organizations Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement Experience acting as a liaison between multiple disciplines to solve complex problems with limited resources in a timely manner Experience troubleshooting and developing creative solutions to meet customer demands Experience driving continuous improvement through mitigating risks and realizing opportunities Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S

Government Secret Security Clearance U.S. Citizenship required Preferred Qualifications: A current/active DoD Secret Security Clearance Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Expertise in earned value management, proposal preparation, and/or integrated master schedule (IMS) development Manufacturing experience of defense related electronics Continuous improvement techniques - Six Sigma, Kaizen, LEAN, Red X, etc. Proposal creation and labor estimating Technical project management through different parts of the program/project life cycle Experience working diverse contract types (CPFF

#MPR Primary Level Salary Range: $167,500.00 - $251,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results

Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
