Job description

The Role:

STR is seeking a highly motivated Facilities Coordinator to support our Woburn office. This role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, particularly in vendor management, project coordination and general facilities operations. You will join a team of dedicated, creative, and collaborative professionals and have opportunities to expand your organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills in a dynamic environment.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate and support ongoing facilities design and improvement projects, including kitchen redesigns, supply station updates, conference room refreshes, and shared-space enhancements. Assist with CAD drawings, scopes of work, vendor coordination, and material/finish selections.
  • Coordinate and manage Facilities vendor relationships and associated tasks, including catering deliveries, kitchen equipment service calls, day porter oversight, furniture vendors, and more.
  • Escort vendors into lab spaces as needed while ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Provide support for facilities service requests and maintenance calls.
  • Maintain and organize office supply stations, kitchen consumables and snack & beverage offerings, and ensure consistency and availability across all floors and between buildings.
  • Ensure the workplace is safe, well-maintained, and comfortable for employees.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other STR sites.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalentwork experience in Facilities Operations, Office Management, Site Coordinator, or similar roles
  • Ability to obtain security clearance required.
  • Experience with vendor management, service oversight, and contractor coordination.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and other standard applications.
  • Some experience in AutoCAD preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to interact professionally with colleagues at all levels and with external partners.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to exercise good judgment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning, growth, and taking on new responsibilities.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 

The salary range listed is based on external market data. Offers are based on factors, such as but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, training, key skills/critical skills, security clearances, and prevailing market and business conditions.
