Job description

Description:

The purpose of the Development Officer is to maintain and grow corporate partnerships across Muncie and Fort Wayne, as well as develop relationships for individual giving. Additionally, this role will focus on sharing the mission and vision of TeenWorks statewide. This position reports to the Vice President of Development and Communications and is an integral part of the Development and Communications Team. It is expected that this position will successfully raise funds to empower teens to achieve excellence in community, college, and career. This position will also collaborate with other staff members on activities designed to enhance and support the overall mission of TeenWorks.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

· Manage a portfolio of Fort Wayne and Muncie corporate donors, including cultivation and stewardship of partners in both cities.

· Develop relationships with individual donors in Muncie, Fort Wayne, and the surrounding areas to grow individual giving for all programs in that area.

· Serve as staff lead for the Futures Breakfast fundraising event in Fort Wayne and Muncie.

· Event planner for at least one other event in each city per year. This includes organizing sponsorship, registrations, in-kind donations, and volunteers as needed for each event.

· Engage corporate partners in volunteerism through the execution of Mock Interview and Presentation Day and the Career Expo in both cities.

· Research and develop new corporate and third-party relationships in Fort Wayne and Muncie.

· Grow and manage both the Fort Wayne and Muncie Advisory Councils through every other month meetings and consistent communication with all active members.

· Data management in SalesForce and other data tracker tools as it relates to your portfolio.
