Job description

We are PMG
PMG, a global independent platform company engineered for impact, integrates business strategy, media, creative, and data within a single operating model powered by our proprietary operating system, Alli. With more than 1,000 employees, PMG partners with brands including Apple, Nike, Dropbox, Experian, Sephora, and Whole Foods. Who You Will Be Working With
As a Digital Project Management Lead, you'll be at the center of bringing ambitious digital creative work to market. You'll translate creative and media strategies into organized, technically accurate, and timely digital deliverables while connecting teams across Creative, Media, Production, Development, Technology, and Ad Operations.
This is a hands-on digital project management role for someone who understands how performance creative moves from an initial brief through scoping, production, quality assurance, approval, delivery, and launch. You'll lead projects involving dynamic creative, digital display, banner advertising, and other performance-focused assets designed to drive consideration, engagement, conversion, and commerce outcomes.
You'll partner closely with designers, writers, strategists, developers, media teams, technical specialists, and external production partners. You'll bring structure to complex work, anticipate dependencies and risks, and create clarity around timelines, resources, responsibilities, approvals, and delivery.
You should bring a strong understanding of digital advertising formats, dynamic creative, technical specifications, and the relationship between creative production and media activation. Just as importantly, you should know how to make complex requirements clear and actionable for both technical and nontechnical partners.
What You Will Do
  • Lead Digital Projects End to End: Own digital creative projects from initial intake, scoping, and briefing through production, QA, stakeholder approval, final delivery, and media handoff.
  • Manage Dynamic & Performance Creative: Lead project management for dynamic creative, DCO campaigns, static and animated display, HTML5 banners, and other performance-focused digital assets.
  • Build & Own Project Plans: Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource plans, deliverable trackers, dependencies, and approval workflows that keep complex work moving.
  • Translate Strategy Into Execution: Turn creative and media strategies into actionable project requirements, ensuring teams understand formats, specifications, audience variations, dependencies, and delivery needs.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Bring together Creative, Strategy, Media, Production, Development, Technology, Ad Operations, and account teams to create a seamless path from brief to launch.
  • Drive Quality & Delivery: Ensure digital assets meet brand guidelines, publisher specifications, ad-server requirements, and media deadlines while managing QA, revisions, approvals, and final delivery.
  • Manage Media & Ad Operations Handoffs: Coordinate the trafficking and handoff of completed creative to Media and Ad Operations teams, ensuring assets are technically accurate and launch-ready.
  • Anticipate & Manage Risk: Identify scope changes, dependencies, resource constraints, technical challenges, and timeline risks early, escalating appropriately and driving teams toward solutions.
  • Create Operational Visibility: Use Airtable and other project-management tools to establish clear ownership, accountability, project status, priorities, deadlines, and approvals.
  • Manage Resources & Partners: Coordinate internal resources alongside freelancers, vendors, developers, and external production partners as needed.
  • Improve How We Work: Identify workflow gaps and implement processes that make digital project delivery more efficient, consistent, and scalable, reflecting PMG's commitment to Always Change for the Better.
  • Communicate With Clarity: Translate technical and production requirements into clear direction and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders as priorities evolve.

What You Will Bring
  • Digital Project Management Experience: Approximately 8+ years of relevant digital project management, integrated project management, digital production, or creative operations experience, ideally within a creative, digital, integrated, production, or media agency.
  • Dynamic Creative Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience managing dynamic creative or Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) projects.
  • Digital Display Knowledge: Strong experience managing static, animated, and HTML5 banner advertising and the specifications and technical requirements associated with digital display.
  • Performance Marketing Understanding: Experience supporting mid- and lower-funnel campaigns focused on engagement, conversion, acquisition, commerce, or other measurable outcomes.
  • End-to-End Project Ownership: Demonstrated experience owning digital projects across briefs, scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, production, QA, stakeholder reviews, approvals, and final delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience coordinating Creative, Media, Production, Development, Technology, and Ad Operations teams and building inclusive working relationships across disciplines.
  • Technical Fluency: Strong understanding of digital asset specifications, ad-serving requirements, publisher requirements, QA processes, trafficking, and media-team handoffs.
  • Project Management Fundamentals: Strong command of project planning, timelines, resource management, dependencies, risks, scope, budgets, and stakeholder communication.
  • Workflow & Platform Experience: Proficiency with Airtable or comparable workflow-management platforms such as Asana, Jira, Workfront, or Smartsheet.
  • Operational Judgment: The organization, attention to detail, accountability, and agility required to manage several high-priority projects and stakeholder groups simultaneously.
  • Clear Communication: The ability to communicate technical requirements to technical and nontechnical stakeholders, influence partners, and maintain alignment when priorities or timelines change.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: A solutions-oriented approach to identifying risks, resolving roadblocks, and taking ownership of project outcomes while embodying PMG's Do the Right Thing and Embrace Challenges values.

What We Offer
  • Professional Development: Take advantage of our learning and development programs, mentorship opportunities, and career advancement support.
