Pay Range: $58,000 - $66,500

Our client, a well-established company, is seeking an Accounts Receivable / Billing & Project Administrator to join its collaborative accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of accounts receivable, billing, customer service, and project administration responsibilities. You'll work closely with customers, external stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure billing milestones are processed accurately and efficiently while supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

• Manage accounts receivable, progress billing, and milestone-based invoicing for project-driven work
• Prepare billing packages, completion statements, and supporting documentation using Excel
• Submit billing requests through customer and third-party portals while tracking project billing status
• Communicate with customers, financial partners, and internal operations teams regarding billing, payment status, and project updates
• Assist with accounts payable, reconciliations, year-end accounting support, and other special projects as needed

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounting Support, or related accounting roles, with an understanding of debits, credits, and reconciliations
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, spreadsheet troubleshooting, and data organization; ability to quickly learn new accounting and business software

CFS is partnering with a well-established nonprofit organization seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its accounting team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys balancing transactional accounting, customer service, reconciliations, and collections support. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, managing receivables, and supporting ongoing accounting operations in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

• Process and post daily cash receipts, customer payments, and accounts receivable transactions while maintaining accurate records

• Manage receivable accounts, payment posting, collections support, and account maintenance
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer account concerns
• Prepare statements, invoices, reports, and supporting documentation for accounting and finance leadership
• Assist with month-end reconciliations, account balancing, and financial record maintenance
• Collaborate with internal departments to support payment tracking, receivable activity, and ongoing accounting operations

• 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, cash application, or general accounting experience in a professional office environment
• Strong reconciliation, problem-solving, and customer service skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software; experience with ERP systems, donor databases, Salesforce, or Sage Intacct is a plus

• Salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 based on experience
