Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a logistics company located in Charlestown seeking an Entry Level Collections Specialist to support their team. This role would be a great opportunity for someone looking to get their career started in accounting or someone who wants a long-term job with a steady company.
About the Company Seeking an Entry Level Collections Specialist:
  • Founded over 65 years ago, they are a specialized logistics group
  • Involved in many partnerships in their industry, and have been recognized by the City of Boston
  • Internal promotions for professional growth is common in their accounting department

The Entry Level Collections Will Be Taught To:
  • Manage corporate customer accounts and monitor outstanding balances
  • Create aging reports and prioritize outreach
  • Contact customers on the phone and via email regarding past-due invoices (B2B calls)
  • Negotiate payments plans and track receipt
  • Assist with month-end close for accounts receivable functions

Background Expected of the Entry Level Collections Specialist:
  • Someone who is comfortable on the phone and communicating via email
    • No collections experience is necessary
  • 2+ year(s) in an office environment with exposure to accounting functions
